The working principle of roller coating production line mainly includes the following steps:

Paint storage and delivery: Roller coating machines are usually equipped with paint storage devices and delivery systems. The paint is sent from the storage device to the distribution system of the roller coating machine through delivery components such as pipes or pumps. The function of the distribution system is to evenly distribute the paint on the surface of the roller to ensure that the roller can evenly apply the paint when it contacts the workpiece.

Roller rotation and paint adhesion: The roller is the core component of the roller coating machine and is driven to rotate by a motor or other power device. The surface of the roller can be smooth or made with a certain texture or pattern as needed to achieve different coating effects. When the roller rotates, the paint will adhere to the surface of the roller under the action of centrifugal force.

Workpiece delivery and coating: The workpiece moves at a certain speed and direction through the conveying device. When the workpiece passes through the roller, the paint on the roller will be evenly applied to the surface of the workpiece. The thickness and uniformity of the paint can be controlled by adjusting the contact pressure between the roller and the workpiece and the rotation speed of the roller.

‌Quality Control and Adjustment‌: There are many types of roller coating machines, including full precision, semi-precision and ordinary types. The full precision type can adjust the speed of the uniform rubber roller and uniform steel roller separately, which is suitable for rolling UV paint; the semi-precision type can only adjust the speed of the uniform rubber roller separately, which is suitable for NC paint and UV primer; the ordinary type cannot adjust the speed independently, which is suitable for rolling NC paint, but it is an obsolete model.
